This wonderful victorian aesthetic platter is transfer printed in crisp dark black. Wonderful impressed handles. The pattern features very busy scenes of flowers, raspberry canes and raspberry fruit mixed with wild grains. Sailing ships, a pond of Water lilies, bees flying past ripe berries and two fabulous cartouches, one of a countryside thatched home and the other of a garden bird peacefully perched upon a branch. Geometric Japanesque ribbons float in the wonderful scene.
